Once school begins, we will use this section to keep our families, community, and stakeholders informed on current COVID-19 related issues.
LAKESIDE PRIMARY SCHOOL IN-PERSON OPEN HOUSE
August 18th, August 19th, and August 20th
Teachers will contact parents/guardians to set up a time slot.
LAKESIDE INTERMEDIATE VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSE
Students will receive a letter in the mail with his or her homeroom teacher, schedule, and the homeroom teacher’s Google Classroom Code. The letter will be mailed out on 8/7/2020. Students need to log in to their homeroom teacher’s Google Classroom for links to zooms that will be available at a later date. Teachers will schedule Zoom Virtual Open House meetings. Each teacher's time and date will be unique.
LAKESIDE MIDDLE SCHOOL VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSE
Students will receive a letter in the mail with his or her homeroom teacher, schedule, and the homeroom teacher’s Google Classroom Code. The letter will be mailed out 8/7/2020. Students can also log into Home Access Center to find out their teachers as of 8/7/2020 after 3:30 p.m. Students need to log in to their homeroom teacher’s Google Classroom for links to zooms that will be available on August 20 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. There are also some informational documents available for students and parents available in the teachers’ Google Classrooms.
August 20th - Parents and students will:
Meet individual homeroom teachers- live on zoom from 6:00pm - 6:30pm
Meet with content teachers (content teachers will be together on Zoom) from 6:40 pm - 8:00 pm 20-minute sessions.
Elective teachers for 7th grade will also be available from 6:40-8:00 for questions regarding athletics, understanding the block schedule, and etc.
LAKESIDE HIGH SCHOOL VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSE
LHS Open House will be virtual this year. Students and their families will be able to watch introductory videos from their teachers attached to the LHS master schedule. It is recommended that students watch all videos for all of their classes. These videos will be no longer than 5 minutes each and will cover introductory information regarding the teacher, the topics covered in the class, and the expectations of the students. All videos will be “Go Live” on Thursday, August 20.
